After a very long season for all of our athletes, our U17 boys pulled off some fantastic individual performances over the course of the match, contributing to a resounding win for Hertfordshire over very strong rival county teams.

  • Ralph Williams: 100m hurdles, A string – 1st place (14.53)
  • Josh Woods: Long jump, A string – 1st place (6m28)
  • Tom Wright: Long jump, B string – 1st place (6m15)
  • Ollie Stafford: Hammer, B string – 1st place (37.49)
  • Tom Wright: High jump, A strong – 1st place (1m80)
  • Luke Burford: 400m, B string – 2nd place (53.67)
  • Josh Woods: Triple jump, A string – 2nd place (12.11)
  • Luke was also part of the winning Herts 4 x 100m relay team.

Dacorum & Tring AC and Stevenage & North Herts were the two clubs that contributed the most athletes to the Herts U17 men’s team, of all the clubs in the county – a testament to the strength and depth of our squad. Well done, boys!
